Solihull College is celebrating a new partnership with local hairdressing salon, Simon Paul Hair & Beauty, as it becomes its principal Satellite Centre.
The first of its kind for the Hair and Beauty Academy at Solihull College, the Satellite Centre has been created to allow both organisations to work together and share their experience and expertise to benefit the company’s apprenticeship students.Entering its 21st year in business, Simon Paul is passionate about recruiting and retaining the brightest talent in the industry and provides a dedicated training academy for its employees. The in-house training academy, which runs for two days each week, allows the apprentices to build up the relevant knowledge in hairdressing skills, as well as develop hands-on experience in a professional working environment.Simon Lawson, Founder and Managing Director of Simon Paul Hair & Beauty, comments: “Training is at the heart of our business and I believe it’s the key to our success.
