New postgraduate management course launches at Solihull College

For people looking to progress in their managerial career look no further than Solihull College, which launches a new postgraduate management course in the New Year.

The Level 7 Postgraduate Certificate in Management Online (Blended Learning) allows students to undertake their learning online, through the College’s Virtual Learning Environment, whilst also having the option to receive support from the College’s Higher Education department and other facilities.

This one-year programme, awarded by Oxford Brookes University, provides a perfect stepping stone for people wishing to gain a Masters Degree in as little as two years.

Mary Younan, Course Coordinator, comments: “We are really excited to be offering this internationally recognised course through a unique blended learning approach, as it allows students to carry out their studies from home to fit around work and family life, with the added benefit of having additional assignment support from the College. The course provides a practical introduction to the main concepts, approaches and expertise needed to be effective in management and business anywhere around the world.”

Taking part in webinars and other online activities is a key part of the course, which is ideal for managers or administrators with three years’ work experience or graduates with at least one year of work experience, aspiring to an administrative or professional managerial position.

After completing the Postgraduate Certificate students have a range of possibilities open to them for further development, including the Postgraduate Diploma in Management and Leadership at Solihull College, after which students can then progress onto a Masters degree.
