For young people leaving school this academic year and still considering their options for the future, come along to Solihull College’s Open Day and discover the range of courses on offer.
From A Levels and Vocational Qualifications to Apprenticeships and Foundation Programmes, the College has plenty of courses to choose from in a wide range of subject areas.
These include: Animal Care, Art and Design, Beauty and Alternative Therapy, Business, Computing and IT, Construction, Early Years and Childhood Studies, Engineering, Hairdressing and Barbering, Health and Social Care, Horticulture, Media, Performing Arts, Public Services, Science, Sports and Leisure, and Travel and Tourism.
Tutors will be on hand to discuss the different levels and progression routes available, as well as explain what each course involves.
The Open Day is taking place on Saturday 15th October from 10am until 2pm at the College’s Blossomfield Campus in Solihull. The event will also give potential students an opportunity to experience the fantastic facilities the College now boasts following its recent £31 million redevelopment.
Local radio station BRMB will also be on campus to provide live music and entertainment, as well as announce the lucky winner of an iPad2! For the chance to win this fantastic prize, Year 11 students simply need to visit www.solihull.ac.uk/openevents and upload their funniest school photo, by midday on Friday 14th October.
The best photos will be displayed at the Open Day so students need to come along and see if their photo has been marked with a winning special star and they can then pick up their iPad2.
